So, i've decided. I want to literally count my blessings today.
So here's 25 random things I wanna thank God for.
1) for being who He is, for being by my side faithfully when i'm not, for living in me, for dying for me, for loving me, for caring for me, for standing by my side when i'm otherwise alone, for being the source of my life, my strength and my hope.
2) My parents, for taking care of me, nurturing me, feeding me (physically, mentally and spiritually), for providing for me my every physical need yet, for guiding me, for being there for me, for being my friends, for teaching me, for cheering me up when i needed it, for loving me even whether i deserve it or not.
3) my brother. for taking care of me. for being that older figure to look up to. for being a fun person to be with. for the times he put up with me and for the times he forgave. For the times he made me laugh. For spicing up my childhood.
4) my friends in general, near and far. Kuching, KTJ, Edinburgh. Life was not meant to be a solo ride, and i'm glad i got to know each of you. thank you.
5) my flatmates. For being there and not being sick of me (or at least not showing it). for cooking washing cleaning throwing rubbish. for taking care of me when i needed it. for the nonsense we do.
6) my church (es). For FBC and destiny edinburgh. for being a source of spiritual food. For helping me grow. For letting me fellowship with people who build me up. For everytime God moves in His house.
7) for my wonderful cell groups. PCCF and dispatch. For the youth work and young adults back home.
8) my uni place. For an opportunity to study here.
9) my flat. It's lovely. for the times heated water came on immediately. for having a laundry machine and a dishwasher for the times people bombarded our flat. for just being a lovely space to hang out in. for everything that works in the flat.
10) my home. For every good and bad time i spent there.
11) the snow outside. or any other weather i've been through. For God's faithfulness through the seasons. For being indescribable.
12) For PBL. i have it in 13 minutes so pardon me if i cut this short soon. I realise i've never thank God for this. it's something i'm so used to dreading. But it's an experience. A learning one. So thank you God.
13) For time. 19 years and a few months of it. For every breath i made, and every one that is yet to come. For the time i have to love God, worship Him and make a difference in this life.
14) for my winter boots that keep me warm. :)
15) for wonderful seniors in Edinburgh.
16) for making me who i am. For knowing the depths of my heart and yet love me the same (yes, sue me for plagiarism. :P)
17) For my health. Currently having a runny nose, but how often do we thank God when we are healthy? Besides, i'm all good other than that cold. :D
18) for my laptop. :D
19) for all the circumstances He led me through ever since my birth. For being with me through each of them. For teaching me through each of them. For moulding me through each of them.
20) for all You've done.
