and coincidentally, i'm doing pharmacology again. :(
argh!!!!! some people just never seem to have brains! or hearts! or whatever la. At least not as bad as my bro's neighbours. His neighbours were blasting music at 5 am in the morning! seriously ridiculous people. ARGH!
Plus, today hasn't been a good day for me. Started out the day eating breakfast at JMC only to realize that they served me MOULDY SAUSAGES! ugh. Even the super duper oily KTJ sausages will never be mouldy for goodness sake! good thing i spotted the green spot on the surface. Steph cut the sausage open to see the extent of mould growth within the sausage. UGH! not exactly the nicest thing to see in the morning. At least it reminded me that i need to re-revise my antifungal drugs again. Drug names and my brain just doesn't click.
Wasn't feeling good after that mouldy sausage thing. Okay, it was probably psychological. But still! sigh...i'm traumatized.
Went to celebrate Dong's bday at Bonsai the Japanese restaurant. The food was ... okaylah. i'm not a big fan of jap food, but i really thought they could do better. Giving us wet glasses gave me a really really bad first impression of the place. Aiyo, it's just wiping the glasses...not that hard right? Then my sushi came. One of my 4 makis had a huge horizontal slit down so i had trouble gripping it properly. But it's still food la. at least it's not...MOULDY! :) Was quite disappointed not to hear any frying sounds in the kitchen after 3 of my friends ordered jap pancake. Must have been reheated...sadly. But the price was okayla, for a UK jap restaurant. So can't complain much la.
BUT on the brighter side of life, the weather here has turned BEAUTIFUL!!!!! with flowers blooming out on every tree branch, a cool gentle breeze, and that gentle rays of sunlight leaving my skin with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Life's good. I can tell you that for the first time here in Edinburgh, I've experienced better weather than Kuching's weather. Haha...heard kuching was super hot from my parents. Mid-30 celcius? i'd be roasted when i go back. But still, can't wait to get back! :)
