hello year 3!

grey clouds only look grey when you are under it. above it and you see the prettiest sight, fluffy wool-like cloud shimmering in the golden rays of sun in all it's splendor. Yet, sometimes a journey brings you back down to earth, and you look back up on the sky. as gloomy as grey clouds may sound, in the big picture, it could look grand, if only we see the big picture. I saw a sky of blue, pink and orange, with a hint of grey and boy it looks pretty. Yet beauty, is a thing of the heart. When your heart is at peace, bursting with joy, with burdens lifted, knowing that someone has been faithfully holding your hand throughout that entire journey, everything can't help but look pretty after all. :D

been a pretty rough week, but rough too can be a pretty nice texture to look in the bigger picture. but God is always faithful, always true, always there. :D

officially started 3rd year last week, and 3rd year is supposed to be an exciting jump from 2nd year coz we officially get to go around wards and do bedside teaching and go under consultants and all that cool stuff... but last week were just lectures... not to say they weren't interesting, they were, but it was a tad potong stim la. :D but anyway, tomorrow we get to do all that is mentioned above... yay! and the cool thing about edinburgh is edinburgh produces davidson's - our bible to medicine, and i just found out my consultant wrote the cardio part of it! how cool! :D to learn from the people who really know their stuff. :D hahaha.... this is turning out to be a geeky post but anyway, hello 3rd year! :D

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God - Eph 3:16-9
