Leaving. Again.

one more day of malaysia before heading back to cold edinbrrrrr.

happy malaysia day. could it be happier?

i wish i don't have to pack and go. i've grown attached to my home yet again. but it's time to leave me comfort zone, and march on to another new academic year. May it be a great one, a year where i'd grow and learn more, a year where challenges will come, but i'd somehow learn to overcome. A year when i be joyful and contented even in my sorrow and stress. And above all, may i used it wisely according to His will.

i've been glued to my laptop slaving away for EMSA. ahaha.... i guess i'm actually liking designing stuff. Thank God for computers! I would never be able to design anything given just pen and paper. 

I wanna eat kolo mee today. all the tropical fruits i will miss. roti canai (which ab says he'd bring us out for :) ) but my parents are in the 'oh no, you're leaving so soon' mood and they want us to stay home. darn, i'm so gonna miss them.

just a random thing

a few days ago, my mum was asking me what is bluetooth. Her phone is the older kind which has only infrared, so i was telling her how certain phones are bluetooth compatible and the others not.

My dad overheard and interuptted, ' How bout my phone? Does it have bluetooth?"

My reply was an almost immediate no, since my dad and my mum are using the same model.

And then my dad spoke,

"I have white tooth leh."

Then yesterday, i was watching the ntv7 chinese night news, and the newsanchor ended the news by saying, 'Thanks for watching. My name is Jia Qi, have a good night.' (in chinese, of course)

And my dad spontaneously said, 'My name is HT, she is Charis. Good night.'
