first i gotta say thanks to everyone for the great birthday i had. Thanks to yichieh and qinkerbell for such well thought pre-birthday surprises. love the muffins and guitar strap. special thanks to xl for your greetings, to those who sent well written cards and emails and ecards and wallposts, and to those who remembered and made the effort to make my birthday happy. very happy indeed. so this goes out especially to my two lovely flatmates and my brother, + clara + dong + oh my goodness i just realise this list won't end so i shall stop here but please realise you are appreciated. :D
anyway just a short note to say:
i'm okay. in fact i'm great.
i was slightly traumatised today because of [censored for sake of patient's confidentiality]
i'm tired.
i've got loads of work to do.
i've got loads of lectures to catch up.
i've got an assignment i can't understand.
but i've the source of joy and strength.
source of hope.
source of light.
i've a BIG God.
And He loves me dearly and calls me His own.
What should i fear?
Why should i hide?
What else can i do but to praise Him and to do as He says?
To pour out this joy that overflows
to put aside my worries and really step into a radical life for Him.
to soar
and to soar higher
to get out of my boat, walk on water
... and run.
